Logos Aren't That Important... Or Are They?
We received some thoughtful responses to last week's discussion of logos and whether or not a company really needs one. Some excerpts:
"First, how big does the company plan on getting (local, national, worldwide)? If they plan to stay local & it's a small community, then I agree with the statement that logos don't matter much. If they are going for a broader coverage, then the most important thing is consistency. Pick one and stay with it until it's totally recognizable, even at a distance." Ann B.
" As simple as it may be to make a logo, it is important because of character, integrity, and identification. I personally would not have a business without a logo for it's face because that leaves too much open. Focusing on a personality for a business is what makes the business unique." Matthew T.
