From Jennifer Kyrnin, your Guide to Web Design / HTML
HTML5 sectioning elements are useful for creating outlines and making your site more semantic. But there are some elements that act like root elements in an outline (like the BODY element, for example). This week I explain more about HTML5 sectioning elements and how sectioning roots work.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of different web editors available for you to use. I have a script to help you find the perfect web page editor, but sometimes it's easier to see reviews of editors by other people and decide based on their opinions. I have received several new web editor reviews from other About.com readers. Some interesting ones that have just come in include:
one stars Dreamweaver CS5.5
three stars CoffeeCup HTML Editor

Please forward this newsletter, in its entirety, to your colleagues, coworkers and friends, anyone you think would like to learn more about web design, HTML, and web development.

HTML5 Sectioning Roots
Sectioning roots are a challenging part of HTML5 because there is not yet a lot of support for HTML5 outlines, and it is primarily an accessibility issue. And since most web designers do not use screen readers or other accessibility tools, they don't see the accessibility issues and benefits of sectioning content and sectioning roots.

Use a Generator to Make Building CSS Faster
Building CSS is difficult, there are a lot of properties to remember and hundreds if not thousands of ways you can design your pages. These CSS generators help take some of the memorization out of building CSS. You just plug in what you want in your design and the generator makes the (often cross-browser compliant) CSS for you.
