What is the black stuff leftover in my humidifier?
I just got a humidifier lead to i have a bad cold. After I use it and go clean it, there is this black stuff floating in the water. Does everyone know what it is?

Dirt, out of…the air.

It is mold. Mold grows where there is moisture. Humidifiers are notoriously tough to retain clean.
