From Charles Herold, your Guide to Wii Games

This week I review two more games from last fall that didn't inspire me enough to get them reviewed by Christmas. One, the virtual board game Fortune Street, turns out to be pretty good. The other, Ben 10 Galactic Racing, turns out to be less good.

I've actually only got one game left in my to-do pile, and it's so boring I don't feel like bothering with it at all. I may do something rather odd and write a combined review of that game and a Wii homebrew title, even though they have nothing in common. I know it sounds weird, but it makes perfect sense in my head. You'll have to wait until next week to find out if it works as well in print.

Fortune Street Reviewed

Fortune StreetNintendo's Fortune Street is the latest in a long line of Japanese virtual board games, but the first one to come to the U.S. Fans of Monopoly are likely to really enjoy this one, which leads to the question - since Monopoly is a popular game - why Nintendo never gave us any of the previous games. That's a question I can't answer (and honestly I don't much care), but I can tell you if it was worth the trip to America. To find out, read my review of Fortune Street.

Ben 10 Galactic Racing Reviewed

Still clearing some of last year's games out of my to-do file, and it's getting pretty near the bottom, which is why my latest review is Ben 10 Galactic Racing. Are you excited to learn about a Ben 10 game? Then you're probably 5. Would a five-year-old enjoy the game? To figure that out you should read my review of Ben 10 Galactic Racing.
